New Zealand freediving is taking a huge increase in profile with successfully world record attempts by kiwis this year to support the strength that kiwi’s have in this sport, Dave mullins has again show the world that kiwis can dive, with an astounding -110m dive in the triple depth competition held in Sharm, Egypt.
Dave’s dive was 4m short of his announced performance of -114 – which would have furnished him with yet another world record, his dive awards him 2nd place overall for the event. Fellow Kiwi William Trubridge has completed a dive to 70m CWT, which places him in the top 20 finalists results can be seen here.
